All directors work toward a prestigious credential that reflects advanced training and strong leadership development — known as the Director Gold Certification. Each Board member has either achieved this distinction or is currently progressing through the Credentialed Cooperative Director (CCD) or Board Leadership Certificate (BLC) programs, which together contribute to earning Director Gold status. To ensure the Ouachita Electric Cooperative Board maintains the highest standard of knowledge and leadership in an ever‑evolving industry, the Director Gold Certification must be renewed every two years through continued education and engagement.
